About This Event
Discover an alternative history of York with its reputation for having a pub for everyday of the year. Find out about some of the oldest as well as the people and events associated with them. Inquests, riots, politics, plagues, religious influence, bizarre entertainments and strange auctions, York's pub history provides a strong picture of the social life of the city.
Walks start from outside the National Trust shop, YO1 7LG at the junction of College Street and Goodramgate. Tours last for approx. 2 hours.
