About This Event
Join us for a relaxing day weaving a willow bird. You may choose which ever type of bird you would like, how about a curlew, chicken or even a goose!
The course will be led by Jess Wilkinson Willow.
This masterclass is open to all abilities, no experience is necessary. All that is required is nimble fingers and a bit of hand strength. You will learn simple yet satisfying weaving techniques in a relaxed, creative setting.
This is a 1 day weaving workshop. We will start by creating the frame and build out from there creating the details, head, beak, legs, wings and feet all from the versatile and natural fibres of willow.
Lots of people attend these workshops alone and make friends with like-minded people on the day, so please do not worry about coming solo!
